Running with a Cold....

The day we left Utah, I felt a cold coming on. I thought I was keeping it at bay pretty well until yesterday when I woke up. My face and head feel like a train ran over it. I still managed to run three mile yesterday, but today I could barley breath and felt like sleeping in. I am hoping maybe later today I will feel a bit better and head out the door for a quick one. Any tips on a faster, recovery and/or tips on running with a cold?

TONS of water, (no pop or sugar drinks)and sleep. I had a massive cold before i had Garrett (3 days before my due date) I went to my doctor to see what he would suggest because I had to be over it by the time I had him. He said, there isn't anything for me to take and told me water would work better. So I tried it and was over my cold within 48 HOURS! The day after my cold went away I had him.

That's a neat-looking contraption!

I don't have much advice other than rest, fluids and Vitamin C!

Get well soon.

Hahaha love the pic. Hot tea (decaf) at night with a spoonful of honey always clears my head! :)

My friend swears by Zicam. I am not very good about resting when I am sick. Maybe some vitamin C.
Hope you are feeling better soon!
